Hey presto, så er der pesto

Ingredienser

 “Alting grønnes og springer ud..” som min nære personlige ven Kim Larsen så kønt synger det, og det gør det i en sådan grad at jeg lige kan nå at lave pesto af mit selvsåede basilikum. Hytten er jo lejet ud pr. 1. juli, så det er med at få udnyttet de få glæder jeg når at få af min ellers så stort opslåede nyttehave. Så ud i driveren med mig og samle ind af mine mange forskellige arter basilikum og derefter ind i køkkenet og gøre som følger:

Rense basilikum for E Coli bakterier, dræbersnegle og andet godt.  Hælde det i blender med olivenolie, pinjekerner, parmesanost, salt og peber. Blende med 100 km/t og tjekke om det smager godt og konsistensen er lind som (og her kommer en analogi jeg for nyelig er blevet glad for) et spædbarns afføring.  Det var naturligvis fantastisk og bedst af alt kan jeg ikke huske hvor meget jeg har brugt af hvad….men nedenfor et skud.

  • Masser af olivenolie af den jomfruelige slags
  • en stor dusk basilikum af henholdvis Spicy globe og Gecofure 
  • en pose alt for dyre pinjekerner
  • 50 gram parmesan
  • salt og peber
