På min sidste feriedag skulle vi bestige verdens højeste bjerg på Færøerne – Slættaratindur (oversættes til Mount Doom). Vejret var tilsyneladende standard Færøsk med ca. 15 m/s, regn og tåge. Desværre svarer Færøske m/s til km/t i DK, sagt med andre ord…. der blæste en tucan! Alle ved at det er rigtig svært at bestige bjerge når det blæser så meget, men ikke desto mindre nåede vi toppen 610 meter over havets overflade. Onde tunger vil sige at Slættaratindur er helt op til 882 meter højt, men det er en usandhed.
