- Bov rå
Efter nogle forsøg med dypkogeren huskede jeg endelig at fotodokumentere begivenhederne. Efter både knap så gode og meget gode forsøg med diverse udskæringer af ko, gik det denne gang ud over et stykke bov fra mekanikerens tyrekalv anno 2010. Kl 10:00 søndag formiddag satte jeg apparatet i gang på 54 grader og med vakuum pakket bov i gryden. Kødet var tilsat lidt salt, peber og rosmarin og naturligvis pakket i min hyper smarte state of the art vakuumpakker.
Jeg drog til golf og spillede naturligvis en forrygende runde (2 på hinanden følgende birdies tegner lovende for sæsonnen), og til aften hev jeg bæstet op af gryden efter 7 timers konstant og uhyre præcis varme. Resultat var en flot rød bov som jeg skar bøffer af, der efterfølgende fik 30 sekunder på en rygende varm pande, for lige at give dem stegeskorpe. Krydderierne gjorde ikke meget væsen af sig må jeg indrømme, men kødet var mørt og smeltede som smør på tungen, og det var bov! håhååååå……potentialet er enormt!
